The Model 401 was designed as a multipurpose light unit.

Capable of being either head, helmet or handle bar mounted.

So, whether you are a cyclist, a runner, whether you enjoy pot holing, caving, or any other activity where a head mounted light source is required. This is the type of application for which the Model 401 was designed and built.

Designed to be our smallest, lightest unit so as to permit head or helmet mounting while also being capable of extended run times.

The Model 401 uses Four high powered LEDs in conjunction with microprocessor control to produce class leading results out on the trail.

Another class leading feature is the lens, the material of which has superior scratch resistant properties while also having a high optical efficiency, allowing more light to pass through the lens than other lens materials.
